The Diploma in Health Sciences (Nursing) (HSN)
course is a new three-year, diploma level course aimed
at preparing students to function competently as registered
nurses. Students will assess, manage and prevent problems
related to health and illnesses. They will be equipped
to apply the knowledge gained in nursing, biological and
behavioural sciences to nursing practice.
Registered nurses here
can progress on three tracks - administrative, education
and clinical. As a nurse clinician, Peter uses his advanced
skills to care for patients, instead of being in a management
or teaching role.
